Yeah, I've been enjoying too! And yeah, Mike, it sure did get our attention!  The flat colors in the rendered video doesn't do the scence justice - the deep agua green-blue of the water right as we reach the beach over the
palapas is amazing in the original video... And the north wind was cranking as you could see by the white caps on the sea.
It was a trip in 2002 when Capt. Mike flew my brother and I from Tucson to Loreto and back for the Grupo Tortuguero conference - it was a great trip!
Since I was uploading video from our last trip I dug through my old DV tapes and found the ones from this trip so I decided to make a few shorts to
post. I'll be adding a few more soon - lotsa fun seeing this stuff again!
Ken, did you fly with Capt. Mike or others?

yeah, Ken is an old hand at baja flying. in a Baron i think.
a note pirep on the approach:
the surface winds were blowing hard out of the NNE at maybe 20-30 kts making it a heavy Xwind but there were random shifts as well.
so with controls nearly fully crossed and the right wing dipped we crabbed in to anticipate our "kick out" maneuver right before touch down.
When low and over the main cantina bldgs we caught a strong downdraft nose on as the xwind shifted, instantly advancing the throttle to full power
kept us from being thrown down hard from about 15 ft - possibly resulting in broken gear and flats!
When you hear Dave my co piloto say "nice save" in the video, he's commenting on the last second adjustment before we were able to safely flare.
we stopped for lunch and to check ouit the area per Greg's request - it blew so hard on the ground we couldn't wait to get the hell out of there!
