We also expect to cross the border on the 27th headed for Asuncion. However, we will be leaving Ca from Northridge, having Christmas at my daughters. Probably wont get to the border berfore noon. We will be pulling a 28 ft Alpenlite Travel trailer with our gray Dodge 3/4 ton Diesel. Wave if you see us. Don't expect to get to Asuncion until the 29th or 30th, just taking it slow and easy.

Look forward to meeting you all in Asuncion.

Yup, we are from Canada, and were just at Shari and Juan's in September!! Can't seem to get away from Asuncion!!!

This year for Christmas, our Pero's gave a present to Mr. Gypsy, it was two airline tickets to San Deigo!!! So we are flying to San Diego, and then driving from there, not a bad trip at all!!!

Unfortuneatly we both have to be back to work on Jan 3, so we will leave Asuncion on Jan 1, and we fly out from San Deigo on Jan 2.

Let's hope for a warm spell! My son and I are leaving for Asuncion in two days. We'll spend 7 nights in San Roque and then have about nine days to make it back home. I'm wondering if it would be fun to go to Concepcion for a short while after Asuncion, or if we would rather head home via Gonzaga and take our time along that stretch. We'll have mini dirt bikes with us, and I think the trail possibilities are better on the way to San Felipe. I have always wanted to visit Slab City, so we might make time to stop there for a night on our way home.

Well? Did they make it? I've been following along so don't keep me hanging.
I hope the weather is good for them. They deserve it for the extraordinary effort to get there.
I hope there's a nice big yellow waiting for Mr. Gypsy!

Okay, thanks! I wish I was there but hope you all have a great time. Tight lines to all the pescadores. If the weather is right I'm sure Juan will find the fish!
Oh and tell Bajaboy not to catch all the fish! Man, is that guy lucky!;)
