Next to the stand where square tamales are sold?
Sorry Ken, I know you were attempting a stimulating intellectual geography discussion here.
What the heck is that mini-urinal/TP cozie/medicine cabinet adjacent to the "#2" star?

I don't know but it looks a bit uncomfortable for reading.

OK, no guesses so far and I am really curious---except it won't count unless you check out both. :tumble:

OK it was not in a public bathroom, men or women. It was in a hotel room.

We have stayed where there was no toilet seat, and in Guadalajara where we stayed a few times, they had hot water in the toilet, but never a square toilet---wonder where they bought it.

Before the suspense gets to everybody I better cough up the answer. These are in the rooms at the refurbished Hotel Punta Chivato (Posada de las Flores). I have not exactly led a sheltered life, but I've never seen this before. The style is European (flush knob on top), and the owners are (were) Italian, but even in Italy I don't recall seeing any square or rectangular toilet seats. I would have remembered

Nope, not Italian, I can attest to that. Methinks they must be German.:lol::lol::lol:

On second thought, they COULD be Italian, but they would have to be from Milano. Nobody south would ever come up with something like that.:lol::lol::lol:

Wonder how many will get the inside joke? Aldo, Max?
