BN's is also arranging for discounted hotel rooms and RV spaces at the Estero Beach resort, about 2 miles from course. The rate will depend on how many reservations are made so if any of you out of towners would like to stay there please indicate on bottom of registration form.

I've been handing form out to potential participants a got the following comments:
1. It's too big to fit in envelope (can we make smaller?)
2. Does not say who to make check out to.
3. Does not say where to mail form and check (can't do that ovewr internet except with PayPal, and no info given for that)

Thanks Bajabound!

I drove over to see Doc yesterday and he is glued to the couch with a bout of the flu.

We still have a month and a half things are really looking good. We have more golfers and Nomads who will be there for the party.

All of you in Punta Banda are very much invited and we EXPECT YOU to show up.

Im off to play 18 holes right now with my son and father and I hope it does'nt rain.

If anyone has any problems please continue to post and we will fix it.

I've been dropping off revised forms at local watering holes and soliciting sponsorship/ gifts from proprietors. So far we have:
1. Sharky's = $100 sponsorship + diner for 4 with wine gift certificate (I have $ and am making certificate for them)
2. La Bufadora Tequilla Grill + dinner for 2 gift certificate (will pickup certificate tonite)
3. Estero Beach = 3day -2 nite Tiki room + dinner for 2 with wine gift certificate that I'm picking up today. stopping @ Juniors on way.
Dennis sugested that him and I go to Baja Mar and drop off applications and solicate sponsorship from them (is this a problem for Jose Louis?):?:

Actually, I wasn't suggesting to ask BajaMar for a sponsorship. I don't think that would work too well. I was thinking about rounding up players to join the party.

AGUA VIVA MISION

Bajabound2005 and Bajamigo arranged our intro and tour of Agua Viva Guarderia/Mision this week. It's about 2 miles east of India Bonita restaurant, near Maneadero.

Jon and Arlene Reynolds are the directors. This ranch, community, day-care, orphanage, foster care, all children welcome shelter provides basics. They just did a lunch for 120 kids last week.

Their 3 most pressing needs are cash, volunteer staff support and equipment support(vehicles, tech, facilities maintenance).

Thanks to all who have already signed up for prize donations, sponsors and GOLF/FIESTA participants. We still need golfers. And food tasters. And beverage quality control quaffers. And any kind of prize donation imaginable for golfers and FIESTA participants.

COME JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL WEEKEND. WE PROMISE A SPECIAL EVENT THAT WILL GROW IN ENSENADA THROUGH THE YEARS

OLD, FAT, DRUNK, WHITE GUYS IN POLYESTER

Hey, Doc, whotheheck wants to join a bunch of old, fat, white guys in loud polyester, drinking and slobbering all over themselves while discussing their life's conquests???

NOWYOUJUSTHOLDONONEDOGGONEMINUTE!

We do not slobber.

This event is especially for you non-golfers, golf-haters or those lacking proper loud 70's style polyester.

For a whopping $10 donation to Agua Viva kids shelter, here are the top 10 reasons why you can't miss April 5:
1. BajaBound2005, our Chief Culinary Officer, and her staff will whip up tamales, chorizo, sizzling bbq treats and more.
2. BajaGuy and BajaBlonde are going to pour you 2 free adult beverages, as long a your f.a.b. taste that day includes beer or wine. We may have just a few extras for a few pesos more.
3. Beachbum1A is throwing in a free raffle ticket to all participants. We have several Ensenada area lodging gifts, restaurant certificates and more donations coming in.
4. BigMike and his young girlfriend are providing decorations and red carpet treatment for you. We'll snap some pix of you in especially embarrassing moments and publish the worst of them. This is your chance to be a star.
5. Bajamigo is arranging a silent auction of the spiffiiest prizes. We're still awaiting his importing of the BMW 7 series donation.
6. Lizard Lips has reserved ourveryown private oasis at Baja Country Club for the fiesta that afternoon. He is working on contracting with the Grupo Modelo girls for valet service.
7. Durrelllrobert will be there, as official golf and behavior marshall. Anyone breaking rules or misbehaving will cough up an extra $10 spot donation/mordita to D.R.
8. Musical entertainment will be provided, possibly in the form of professional musicians. If that fails, we'll play some Perry Como vinyl. Or anyone play a mean harmonica?
9. Most creative golf outfit prize will be awarded by our panel of celebrities. Need not be a golfer to win this one.
10. Make fun of all of us who didn't get the $45 discount that we're making available to you(still need some golfers, $55 is your donation for the day).

So jump on our webpage, throw me your $10 via paypal/secure credit card link, or mail it to me on the address listed. Entry SKYROCKETS to $12 after April 1, as we need to plan for food/beverage prep and reserve enough time for celebrity autograph session.
