Yes, there are activities for non-golfers! We'll have croquet, a ring toss game, maybe some badmitton and Mexican Train! How about a lesson on how to make tamales? Other ideas are most welcome! Another option available will be touring the model homes at the Country Club, even if you're not in the market it's always fun to walk through model homes and ask yourself, "Why did they put that there?" amongst other amusing thoughts you might have.

Oh, and did Lips mention there will be live music???

Because of Dennis's advanced age I will let him have the first massage but I will be in line right behind him because my bones will be creakin after 18 holes of sub par small ball!

PRIZES, GIFTS and GOODIES


Food, beverages(i.d. may be required), mariachi music, golfers prizes, raffle for all, silent auction for all, best/worst golf outfit(open to non-golfers, too), lots of fun for those not golfing and more.

Still need a few more prize donations. Local restaurants, lodging, artwork, photographs and other services are in our prize list thus far.

Only two weeks left for the tourney......A lot of people have already signed up and we still have more spots for golfers and fiesta/party, not many so if you are undecided get your today!

This will be a great chance to meet others and enjoy a nice day with your Baja neighbors.

Besides everything else you have read about so far we also have a professional Mariachi singer and the group to back him up.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

NOMADS4NIŅOS Golf & Fiesta, April 5, 2008.
Baja Country Club, Ensenada, Mexico

A unique charity event benefitting Agua Viva Guarderia, a children's shelter in Ensenada area.

1. 18 hole scramble format(aka captain's choice),
cart, range balls, golfers-only prizes and all fiesta
activities. 8:15am gather, intro, 9AM start. $55
2. Fiesta(1pm start) includes tamales, chorizo, BBQ,
2 wine/beer tickets, 1 raffle entry, worst/best golf
outfit entry(non-golfers encouraged), silent auction,
non-golfer games, shenanigans and marichi music.
$10 now, $12 after April 1.
Will pour and serve until we run out or wear out.
3. Golf prizes, raffle and silent auction includes artwork,
Ensenada restaurant certificates, hotel certificates,
are rental house 2 night stays, bottles of wine and more
coming in daily.
