Driving into the town of Bahia Asuncion was welcome to see this:

OK DK...ya got me.

I should be seeing those signs on Sunday morning. We had a little 40 minute ride this past Sunday before putting the bikes in the trailer, and on the north side of a little saddle we ended the ride with about a mile winding downhill through the trees on a dirt road with an inch of fresh snow on an ice base. It will be a joy to dodge pot holes in Baja.

An old favorite when passing through Ensenada.

We always looked forward to stopping here for a coffee roll or pastry for the road. Nothing like a bakery, no matter where you are.

Anyone know is this place is still there? It's on the Malecon street near downtown tourists shops.

edit: p.s. I really LOVE those sugar-coated crisps shaped like a big heart. They crumble all over your lap, too.
