DR: Can't help you out with an ID but I have to chime in that it's great to hear from you and that you're still planning a Picacho climb. Just this May I was at our place in Gecko with my kids and pointed out Mike's Mountain and told the story of your climb that you posted a few years ago. Great to hear from you again. Good karma on the camera-owner hunt.

I have searched for the original posting but cannot find it. I found a couple of posts from February of 2004 that mentioned it... but not the original.

Giving you an overview of the story would not do it justice. I was not there, but, I had met D'Rat (in 2001?) and knew the gentle, southern nature-lover would be at odds with the Mexicali nightlife. :o
