some R&R in loreto

After a solid month of baja beach camping and fishing I am now in loreto for three days of R&R. Nice hotel, good food that someone else cooks and cleans up---you get the picture. The weather in town is perfect, sunny and not real hot with a cool breeze in the afternoon. Thursday I head to agua verde for two weeks, gotta get back to work you know, yuk yuk yuk. fishin rich

Hey Fishinrich, Mija(Juanita) is working at the Driftwood internet(great coffee) for a short time with Mi Ninieta in tow.Stop in and say hi and tell her I sent you. It's a really neat location, rock API building at the right just as the road ends to the boat ramp.Go thru the chain link gate, there are no signs as of yet, until you get to the building. It's right ON the water!Have fun and enjoy for those of us that are'nt there!, Sally

r&r in loreto

hola-fishinrich-read you were heading to aqua verde. i have been trying to contact ex-pats that have lived there for years. carlos was the last camp up the arroyo from the green tortoise campsite. also the locals that own the camp when you level out on the beach(alejo and gualalupe and their family)best damn cheese and tortillas on the baja. a groupe of us rebuilt the palapa serving area after it burned down several years ago. i only mention that because if you would communicate that to the locals they would know who was asking about them. my husbands name was mike (migalon, oso and a few others) last time down he drove a big red ford pulling the airstream and i drove a little green ford pulling the toys. we were there 6 mos. our first trip down was 1983. any way i would like to reconnect. mule mail has not been helpful so far. i am planning on going down in sept . if you would please help me to contact anyone of the above names or any other folks that we might have known please pass along my email flyingpagan@yahoo.com or here at baja forum. hoping you have a safe journey, watch that last curve, and have cold one for me at sunset.many, many thanks. and the next curvesa will be my treat.:bounce:
