Orcas near San Carlos, Sonora


I'm sure some of you fishermen may have run across these photos. They are, in fact, true unretouched photos from one of the charter boat operations over here. Apparently it is not the first time. The orcas were actually PUSHING the boat along at times.

Great shots Hook....Thanx...Bet the skipper of that fishboat was wettin his drawers each time the whale nudged up. Probably the whale is doing it out of curiosity.The question is. Who took the picture? That looks like a pretty close up shot! ++C++

I'm a little dubious about those being "true unretouched photos". The orca's rostrum would be right next to the prop(s) and that is pretty unlikely.

I'm with you on this one Ken, fun pictures to look at but I can't imagine an orca sucking on a spinning prop. Cool pictures though Hook.....dt

Let me look and see if the deck hand on a competitor's charter boat has posted a video yet.

All are claiming that it is legit.
