One time I stopped by that tree to have lunch and then drove on down to town when I realized I had left my hat by the tree. Drove all the way back up
to fetch hat as it was an expensive one.

Baja's most recent volcanic eruption from this one!
The last eruption was recorded by the padres in 1746. This great volcano is over 6,500 feet high. Smoke was reported seen in 1857. This is a dormant
volcano... right now...

Jesse,
Here is a picture I took of the same volcano about 25-28 years ago. As you can see it has just erupted and the top is covered in a cloud of volcanic
ash.
PS. I built that camper on my truck-of course it was named La Casita.

Lava rocks...
Bob H., Don't know how to break this to you...An old shaman I ran across in the outback, years ago told me one was doomed to an eternity of bad luck
after removing lava rock from their resting place...er', opps! Sorry, that was a Hawaiian curse...In Baja, the curse for removing lava rocks is a bad
back!

... but mine are too small to count. Besides, they had already been moved by someone else before me. They get the curse, not me! :moon:
