Personal del Ejército Mexicano aseguró 19 avionetas, armas, cartuchos y equipo de navegación en un aeródromo de Ciudad Obregón, ubicada a 275 kilómetros al sur de esta capital.
La Cuarta Zona Militar informó en un reporte que el decomiso de las aeronaves y las armas se dio tras una persecución de dos aeronaves menores cargadas con droga en el municipio de Bácum.

Señaló que al realizar recorridos de reconocimiento en la comunidad de San José de Bácum, perteneciente al mencionado municipio, se observaron seis aeronaves que volaban a baja altura y sin luces de navegación.

Explicó que al seguir su ruta de vuelo se localizó un taller de reparaciones aéreas, ubicado en calle 5 de Febrero y 600, conocido como "El Crucero", donde aseguraron material de vuelo e instalaciones, incluyendo una pista de aterrizaje.

El aseguramiento se realizó por carecer de documentación que ampare la legalidad de los mismos y violación a la ley de aeronáutica civil, así como a la Ley Federal de Armas de Fuego y Explosivos.

En el operativo se detuvo a Arturo Flores Martínez y Héctor Eduardo Aragón Félix, y entre el armamento asegurado se encuentran ocho cargadores para pistola ametralladora MP 5 abastecidos con 243 cartuchos útiles expansivos calibre .9 milímetros.

El aseguramiento de las 19 aeronaves se efectuó tras la revisión de 60 avionetas que se encontraban en el aeródromo de Ciudad Obregón.
