fdt - just sent in a donation to the toy drive paypal account. sorry i didn't get my act together to get the gifts myself.

we are making the drive in a month or so from norcal...wish it were sooner so we and our 5 year old could participate in the giveaway.

thank you for all your hard work.

pacside

p.s. in the future would be good to know if gently used toys would be of use?

Thank you pacside. I wish all of the people that make this possible could come and be a part of the toy give away.
All of you are great.
As for used or slightly used toys we prefer not to, not that we or the children would not appreciate it but I think less fortunate kids already have to many used toys, clothes, and aother things that a new, never used, just for them toy is the best thing that can happen to them.

I will see if I can return for this trip. It sounds exciting. I will be in Tijuana later today, but if possible, I will return for the bus ride and to see the kids accept their presents.

I can't come to Tijuana until Saturday. So, can I also bring my video camera??? Payday isn't until the 2nd, so I have to condense everything (food/drink/Fernando's Toy Drive) all into 1 weekend. I want to bring my videocamera so we can help advertise for next year.

Chris and I will definitely be ready and waiting in Tijuana to catch that Mexicoach just like we did when Antoņio and you had your "Taste of Tijuana" tour in Nov. '06. So, look out for us - are we to meet again at the CECUT parking lot the morning of the event? Please let us know...

Here's pictures to remind you when you see two hitchhikers -- to please STOP and let us on the bus.

Chris will be there as well. Chris and I attended your "Taste of Tijuana" event in Nov. '06. It was great. We will be in Tijuana, but not sure where you will be. Let us know about the bus stop, and I will make sure we are there on time.

It was DK and Antonio's tour back then but I will welcome you to Tijuana as very few VIP's get treated.

What are the rules governing videotaping in public places?

I will keep the camera nice and discreet, but when I was in Colombia, I couldn't photograph my gf inside the mall. The police would only let me take 1 picture.

I heard once that you can't take photographs in downtown Tijuana for similar reasons? I will have a digital camera and my full-size 3CCD video camera as well.

Thanks, Fernando.
