GPS routes for baja trip?

I'm planning a motorcycle (dual-sport dirtbike) trip from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas. We're planning to do mostly dirt roads and off-road riding. Does anyone know where I can get GPS waypoints for off-road trails or maps with lat/lon so I can plug them in myself?

Thanks,

-Anthony.

Hello Anthony, you have asked a good question and the answer is YES!

1) For off road and on road motorcycle Baja rides using GPS, get Kacey Smith's Baja GPS Guide 'All About Your Whereabouts' at http://www.bajagpsguide.com Her massive work is loose leaf, and you provide the binder... hundreds of GPS waypoints for dozens of rides in the northern 2/3 of Baja (To San Ignacio). Kacey is working on the second edition now.

2) Just out is the new Baja Almanac topographic map book of all Baja showing all roads and trails, in full color http://www.baja-almanac.com

3) Mexican topographic maps with hundreds of GPS waypoints printed on them available from http://www.bajagpswaypoints.com

4) A free list of GPS waypoints can be found at http://www.bajagps.com

5) Depending on when you depart, I may have another GPS list available... check my web site on occaision http://davidksbaja.com

Have a great Adventure!!!
