Camping in Northern Baja...

As work expands and playtime narrows, I'm no longer able to take more than one "deep" mission a year (Seven Sisters, Mag Bay, etc...)...HOWEVER, I still long to sleep outside in Baja so I'm trying to find a few relatively untouched places to camp NORTH of Ensenada....Does anyone know of any remote/rugged camp spots left North of San Miguel on the Pacific? Not interested in places like Salsipuedes, La Fonda, etc...where UCSD kids gather to blare hip-hop or pure RV spots like Salinas....ADVICE?

What about the area just south of Bajamar...where the road juts inland a tad...is there anywhere to access the coast there and rough camp/pay a farmer?

Also, is it true the costal route from Punta San Jose to Erendira is private now?

Wow, you are looking for something very difficult, i really cant think of anyplace like that on the Beach, but theres plenty of untouched places on the old road to Ensenada, or even Valle de Guadalupe, in fact theres so much space inland that i cant come up with a name for you.

Will check out that spot near Bajamar...sounds promising. Thank you.

A friend of mine recently tried to make that (ordinarily routine) trip from Pt.Joe to Cabras and said some irate landowners (Europeans!) stopped him and claimed he was on a private road! I've made that drive many, many times w/o a glitch.

Alarming and annoying.
