Baja addicts: How 'Baja' are you?
I'm so addicted to all things 'Baja' that I have 1 Baja t-shirt for every day of the week, a couple of Baja-related sweatshirts, and a personalized
license plate bearing the word, 'Baja'.
How addicted to Baja are you?

Baja takes up the most room in my heart. That will never change. And I have my own distinct relationship with her. However, I spend less time in baja
than many on this board.

My first trip to Baja was in 1984 to Gonzaga Bay via Catavina and I was immediately a prisoner of Baja. Everything about the trip was life-altering
and amazing. I was hooked! Then in 1987 I discovered Loreto and Tripui RV Park and I had found a place for the rest of my life. Even after the park
burned up in 2004 I knew I had to go back and it was fairly painful financially but I had no choice. My life has been so much richer because of Baja
that is difficult to express in words. Every trip down there and out on the Sea of Cortez is an unbelievable life experience and my main joy in life
is sharing it with my friends. The fun I have watching a first time visitor, is priceless. I know I'm being selfish but I'm glad that many people
are afraid to come to Baja because it would really be a mess with more gringos. Like Ken, I have "Baja" in my personalized plate but that doesn't
begin to describe my attachment. Those of us who are able to spend a lot of time down there are truly blessed and I do my best to try and leave her
better than I found her.

Changed my career from electronic tech., to a refinery operator for the schedule. No longer a 8-5, M-F worker. Now a shift worker 6-6, 28 days 14 on
14 off, with 7 days in a row off out of the 14 days off . Allows me to make a run to Baja Norte every month if I want....and I usually do. If I take 4
days off in conjunction with my 7days, almost two weeks for my addiction. Down for Valentines week with mi esposa, back to fish in San Quintin
presidents day for a week.

You and me.. Time we spend here, BajaNomad. wish'in we were there....
Last year I got in a total of 2 1/2 months in Baja..Mexico.. Baja Sur.
South of the boarder. Working on our dream at Tripui. It is there. It has happened. Just wish we were there NOW. I have got a week and a half to
our 30th and we swore we would be there for it. To enjoy our Baja Mexico, Tripui. A great place to be.

When my days here on earth are done I have asked that I be cremated and my ashes scattered here on my favorite Baja beach. I figure that becoming part
of Baja is about as good as I can do.
Hopefully they don't write my loved ones a ticket for littering!
