Peninsular Treasures...

In honor of the fantastic Baja Authors gathering at the Pyramid Resort in years past, here's some footage from interviews taken at the first event in 2003.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEnAgrgcag4

If there's any interest I'll post part 2 later.

Enjoy!

Love it. I remember that first signing well. It rained off and on and we authors were invited inside for the taping. First time I've seen it.

Part 2

Hey Greg,
Nice surprise to have you on this sight. To be honest, this is the first time this footage has seen the light of day. It's not a finished piece, just a few rough edited segments. I just thought it was appropriate, given there's no signing this year, to let this footage be seen.

and now, part deux...

Whoops, so much for trying to embed this. Try this:

Bernie Swaim shows up on this segment as well. Congrats Bernie on your upcoming marriage! :tumble:

They are fantastic.Great timing too. Looks like we would have been canceled anyway due to the swine flu so we all get a little booksigning fix thru your wonderful clips. Thank you Thank you. Thank you for keeping us alive. Wish we would have had you here every year to document all the different authors that come here to sell their wares and tell us their Baja stories . Awesome Hope to get a cd someday too,.k yes::yes::yes:

Part 3

Keri, thanks so much for the kind words. If this is ever made into a finished product, you'll be the first to receive a DVD. And, hope you're feeling better soon!!

Onward with part 3 which, assbackwardly, includes the opening sequence listing the authors. It then concludes where part 2 left off and is the remainder of all the footage which has been edited. I haven't looked in years but I'm afraid there's a lot more raw footage which could be edited....

Happy viewing
