richard...all i've heard is good things about the fishing at mulege right now...a buddy of mine had double hookups on marlin today and sails were jumping everywhere!....is this normal????....seems a little off the board to me...water temp already up to/over 80 degrees???...wow...i will be there a week from today, not early enough to fish the derby, but....and a BIG butt, but, etc....we will be bringing down a veritable corpiconia,(what's that word???), of raffle prizes for said tourney....so...you don't have to catch a fish to win in this gig!!...you'll get something!..it's cold and wet up here..ewww!

rpleger, You're welcome.:D Will try to be less negative regarding the Sea of Cortez fishing. Don't really have any experience with the pelagic species anyway, they seem to be doing OK.:D It's the local reef species that are in major trouble.
