Gonzaga Bay caravan travel

We are heading to Gonzaga Bay the first week of November, returning ten to fourteen days later. Looking for someone to caravan with. Flexible on the exact dates. Will cross at Mexicali in early AM.

Wow. You think the world will still be here? Just saying that making such plans so far in advance just begs changes in the future.

That is true, however, we travel a lot and need to make plans pretty far out. It is too hot to be there in the summer, winter is too windy, which leaves fall and spring. The water is great, the weather is not too hot, the diving is pretty good. We spear a lot of fish and eat everything we get.
I would spend more time down there but getting other people to go is becoming increasingly more difficult, with all of the bad PR on Mexico. People look at me as if I am crazy, even after explaining the reality of the situatuion.

Mood: Have Baja Fever

Been to Gonzaga many different months... November can be cold and wet (can be nice, too). May through early July is prime (IMO)... But we prefer warm over cold and we like the Sea of Cortez when it is warm. October is a great month usually.

Gonzaga Bay caravan travel

We are planning on crossing at Calexico/Mexicali at 0630 on 2 November returning on or about 12 November. It would be great to caravan. If that is not convenient perhaps a meet in San Felipe and caravan the rest of the way?
Do you have a place in Gonzaga? We lease a palapa and have our boat there. If we don't make traveling connections perhap we can meet on site.
