I'll bet a few Nomads could win this

Our friends at Pacifico are running an interesting contest. Judging by the pictures I've seen on this board, I'll wager there are some potential winners out there. Here's the link:

from the article-
"Due to legal restrictions, residents of California and Utah are not eligible to participate."

Well, that shoots down about half the board!

Heads up, guys and gals, watch what address you use.

Course, I might be persuaded to act as a Washington state address for a really great picture for say.............2 tickets to Paradise/Hawaii on the winner's trip?!?!?!:lol::lol:

"Due to legal restrictions, residents of California and Utah are not eligible to participate."

Darn, that leaves at least a couple of us out of the picture.

It would be fun to see the photos that Nomads could come up with.

I think it might be helpful having a foto of a Pacifico somewhere, but there are no written rules.
I think that there are numerous Nomad fotos that could qualify!;D

My bad. Just because I live here full-time, I couldn't think of a reason why everyone else didn't.

wonder if you could photoshop the Pacifico into the picture?

I'm envisioning a couple of people perched high up on a ledge overlooking the Sea of Cortez, drinking a couple Pacificos.

California and Utah??? Strange bedfellows. Too bad. Being the first US citizen to have discovered and actually drank a Pacifico (on the old liveaboard dive boat Baja Explorador in about 1985), I think I would have had an advantage. Although true, they probably wouldn't have believed it. Que lastima, I think I could probably find a few photos of epic adventures that actually have a Pacifico or three in the frame.

Not valid for California residents?

I'll bet that our Gobinator Arnold had something to do with this! If he were not so busy trying to get the Democrats and Rebublicans together to get a budget he would take care of this problem. The only problem is he could not lead a 2 man parade no less the State of California.

Now with that being said, I have started my morning with a load off my chest and I will now have a great day . Thank you all you Baja Nomads for letting me vent.

I think I will have a Pacifico before I go to work just to keep my post in the spirt of the Forum.

Yes, it was Tecate... We usually have 2 brews on board... Other than Pacifico, we get Tecate, Sol or XX. Tecate purchased in Baja is a whole lot better tasting than Tecate purchased in the U.S. (which isn't made in Tecate, Baja CA).

Baja Angel enjoys Pacifico, as well... (photo at La Bocana near El Rosario, Memorial Day, 2005)
