Construction Zones
We just completed a two week trip to Cabo and back. There are two significant constructions zones that may create considerable delay. First, just
South of Maneadero, several miles of the highway is being rebuilt and you must use a dirt auxiliary road. Second, Just North of Todos Santos, there is
approximately seven miles of the same, as they seek to complete the four lane road from the junction of Highway One. We were just so blessed that we
encountered two water tanker trucks heading out of Todos that traveled never more than 15 MPH and had their destination at the North end of the
project. Good thing we weren't trying to make a plane at the La Paz Airport!

First we're going to have to go REALLY slow through the San Ysidro border crossing...NOW we're going to have to go REALLY slow through several miles
of highway south of Maneadero.
It's worth it in the long run.
It's the price we pay to be home. I can't wait.

Also keep youe eyes open going through Vizcaion Reworkik the Hyw through town. If it bee some time between your drives south San Ignacio has added
three topes

Didn't mention the Vizcaino construction, but it's being redone through town. Only a few blocks, and you'd have to go slow through town, even on the
pavement.

Viscaino really needed a face lift. The detour north of Santa Rosalia isn't really worth mentioning because it's paved. Narrow but it's a construction
ares so driving at a reasonable speed won't hurt for a mile or so. It will be really nice when finished. Should handle the biggest storms.
