Any comments on Punta Chivato?

We are looking to buy a home near Mulege on the water. Does anyone have any comments on Punta Chivato and what homes might go for there?

We are on a budget and trying to find a quiet home on the water somewhere.

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks all!

One of the more expensive places in that greater area. The beaches are wonderful but something, so says me, is missing related to the inhabitants....I guess I would say we have never found them as out going and friendly as many (most) other areas. Certainly does not apply to all and as all of us will convey, ask, ask and ask then visit and revisit before you plunk any money down,

In my experience the beaches are great, but there are a lot of stingrays. This is particularly true in the spring. They are particularly attracted to the silty sand in that area.

If you have children, it is something to think about.
