Didn't Feel the Earth Move

Here in Rosarito adjacent.

I get automatic earthquake updates from the USGS and they have not posted anything yet.

Geez, you heart must have been pounding if you were rocking and rolling on the sway seventeen floors up! :o

I thought it was a dizziness symptom of stress!!! It's on this website:
3 of them within 5 minutes, 5.0, 5.8, 6.9 - yeah - right off BOLA - shoulda rocked and rolled those islands - maybe they're a few feet higher now, with more beach !!

This just came on as breaking news on network news programs. Supposedly a 6.9. That is huge!

I sincerely hope nobody was injured. We are standing by for reports.

I don't profess to be an expert in such matters, but it obvious from the diagram that we're looking at the same plate boundaries that include the San Andreas. And lately, there's been much discussion about certain precursor events, especially in the area of the Ft. Tejon quake.

So glad to read of others feeling it! (this reminds me of a Dane Cook comedy schpiel...) but "I was on the phone, sitting on the couch, talking to a daughter in WA when the couch and my house began moving side to side." My first thought was a quake - but it was coupled with - damn, just my luck - am I having a mini stroke or something?!? Phew! :wow:

BOLA

The News marooon is talking to some resident of BOLA (Paula Schreiner) on the phone right now and she said they felt some pretty good bumps and she's heard of things falling off of shelves, but that's about it.

These News Idiots, living in NY and DC, know absolutely nothing about Baja and sound like Boobs on this story. One of the dumber things said was "We heard that there was one small Island offshore that disappeared into the ocean. Have you heard anything about that" ? When Paula said No, he said "Well, maybe that was over on the Pacific side".

That's pretty close to the epicenter. That's good if that is all she felt.
I saw a report on another website that warned of Tsunami warning.
It is a bit alarming that we haven't had anybody reporting from mid or So. Baja, unless communications are down.

Didn't feel a thing down here in La Paz, wouldn't expect to....and communications seem just fine, toneart. Looking for post from our friends in the mid-section too.
