"All men are created equal" is not in the Constitution. It is in the Declaration of Independence, which predates the Constitution by 11 years.
Furthermore that phrase did not mean what you think it means when it was written. It was put in there by Thomas Jefferson as a rebuttal to the concept
of the Divine Right of Kings, e.g. it meant that the signers of the Declaration rejected the rule of King George. Thomas Jefferson was a slave owner.
