So far the Hotel is holding it's own and we have no property damage that I have found. It's a little scary going outside right now.

Sorry to hear your getting it hard...a little more wind here now.
Not a lot yet and still no rain. Hope it holds for you too.
The clouds above look to be moving faster also and wind noise is picking up. :(

Wind is howling and hasn't let up one iota - some gusts are really bad. I have 270 palm trees here and they are getting a real beating. The pool palapa is doing good so far.

The main pool looks like the water is boiling because it's moving so much by the wind. I'll post a pic in a minute.

HaciendaCerritos, Your place looks great. The weather,so far, does not look as bad as we had thought it would be. A palm tree or two would seem like getting off easy. My house is in La Bocana, and I think it looks like we will be hit hard. Keep hoping for the best.

Hacienda Cerritos,

The sound effects of the wind crackling really augments the visual depiction of your in-the-moment video. Thank you.

Regarding the palms. When Hurricane John came down the Mulege River in a surge it knocked over two of my newly planted palms. If yours end up like mine, you can save them. I tied a rope to the rear bumper of my pickup and stood them back up. Then I shoveled in the dirt/sand that was nearby, and the tied them up to stakes until they had time to re-assimilate.

What a beautiful hacienda you have there!

I hope the worst is over for you by now.

Tony

Geesh - never thought about CNN - you know - out of sight, out of mind. I did it so other Nomads could see what's coming, and we're pretty far away from the eye. You're right, a few palm trees are nothing. We are all safe and that's what matters most.

Here's the pool - looks like it's boiling.

As of 5pm PDT - notice it looks to have cleared any possible hard hit on Los Cabos at this time.

Good idea on the palm trees, we'll try it tomorrow. Nothing has let up yet - we're getting pounded. Too dark to see outside (but I do have a flash).
