Shoot Ken

I can't get it to come up. And you have some of the BEST photography I have seen. Try again por favor.
Some people don't post their pictures because they are planning on making money from them later with a "Baja Book" or whatever. And believe me, there's a bunch of em!
I am not planning on making money from my pictures so I post them for everyone's enjoyment.
If the majority of people on here would prefer I didn't, or those that think it's some sort of competition to try and make themselves feel important and turn even a "Favorite photos" thread into some lame gringo B.S., then we are probably better off not sharing photos.

I think I got it right this time...

I was obviously doing something wrong but I see the photo in my post now. jrbaja I really enjoy seeing your photos, please keep 'em coming. You have a wonderful eye. Also, can you tell me the outcome of the dog/sea lion encounter?? That is a super image.

Thanks Ken

that was a hysterical encounter. There was very little barking from either side and Big (the dog) would circle around it and the seal would keep an eye on him as well.
I think they were kind of impressed with each other or something! We went up to the house, and the seal went on it's watery way.
Big spends a lot of time around animals in the hills so he's pretty much trained to "keep his cool", unlike his owner.

Ken, plainly identifiable as Cabo Pulmo, especially easy given your favorite pastime. Probably taken from the tennis resort property, am I right?

Posted photos don't need to be more than 700 pixels on the longest side. Don't cry about a dialup connection, then post large images that when combined take too long to load, even with broadband.

My, you're quick on the uptake. Not only are they too big, there's too many for one page.

Back to the drawing board

Wel then, I reckon I needs some more schoolin.
I got them to where they say 49.7 something Kb's in Photoshop without loosing too much quality on the digital photos.
And the old scanned photos are almost under 50 Kb's when they go into Photoshop and I reduce them to under 50 Kb's.
As far as too many on one page, this is the first I have heard of this. How many pictures should go on one page ?
This is a bummer because I worked with all those pictures yesterday to make them right so I could post them "legally".
This combined with some ***** trying to turn posting pictures into a competition at the same time I am trying to put some on here could make this extremely difficulter than it already was.
Doug? Deletion again, I don't mind but I don't want to get rid of everybody elses that are done correctly.

Some people have difficulty loading pages due to the number of posts per page.... an amount that each user can modify in the profile of their control panel. See attached.

Also, the "time to load" for images has to do with image file size (kb) and not image file resolution (width).

As posted all over the place here, please keep attachments under 50kb. Thanks.

Attached is report of sizes of what's already here.

Thanks,
