Last spring break, we stayed in one of the little miner's cabins in North Bloomfield - Malakoff Diggins. It was great.

Death Valley is like BOLA without the water!!

Sounds dumb doesn't it?

But that how we feel when we're there. I tell myself it's just like being in baja except its lacks the sea. That's what Death Valley is missing. The important missing ingredient from being perfect.

I missed these earlier. Great photos! We've done very little traveling in the U.S. Seeing everyones pictures lately makes me want to change that.

Thanks for the great photos. This is the first bajanomad thread I've bookmarked for future reference. Hopefully next fall the Ford Condominium will be rolling along the same roads. :D

Doesn't sound crazy to me, but maybe that says something about me. But I guess some water in Badwater once in a while or fishing for pupfish in Salt Creek are not the same. :lol:

Lots of beautiful places in the US to visit, but California is our favorite.
