7 Sisters surf trip 12/26/09-1/2/10

Planning 7 Sisters surf trip. Leave San Diego 12/26 or 12/27 and return 1/1 or 1/2. Anyone interested? Considering Punta Canoas, Punta Maria, or El Cordon.

Shoot, I would love to join you. I have been to Canoas and got it really good, not easy to do. I will be heading North after Christmas, not South. Have fun, post pictures.

No secret...

They are a series of point breaks (some good, some not-so-good) starting around Punta Cono and ending at Punta Rosarito to the south just above GN. I remember in high school camping at Santa Rosalillita for a week waiting for surf w/ no luck. Super friendly locals. We traded the use of our guitar for all the lobster tacos we could eat...

Everyone knows that the location is a closely guarded secret known only by a few select surfers. Don't even think about finding out the location of the Seven Sisters....it's a secret, you don't need to know....unless you're a surfer....and only a member of the select few.....

For years Baja backroad travelers have tried to find the sisters to no avail, they weren't deemed worthy by the few "in the know" and spent many years wandering the coast of Baja in their quest for the sisters only to be met with disappointment.

If you should find yourself in possession of the location of the sisters and you haven't been deemed "worthy" by the powers to be you MUST keep the location secret, going to your grave with the location deeply buried in your subconscious never to be revealed to the general public.

The sisters are only for a chosen few surfers....if you are wondering if you are one of them.....you're not....:lol::lol:....dt

Apologies to Woody, I couldn't help myself....I'm going to open another bottle of wine now....

In Kentucky. Two of them are mom.
Aren't they part of this family?

Now the fifth daughter on the twelfth night
Told the first father that things weren't right
My complexion she said is much too white
He said come here and step
Into the light he says hmm you're right
Let me tell the second mother this has been done
But the second mother was with the seventh son
And they were both out on Highway 61.

I think that's where they are.
Good lord, I'm not even drinking!

Not bad, been a while ..... but, pretty much how I remember it...

What do you think gang? Should I post a map & road log... or would that just send Woody to the moon? Naw, Surfyap is not asking for one.

I think the guy has been there.. He only posted here once before... and that was three years ago... asking about the 7 Sisters back then!??;D

(Any lurkers wanting to know more, there are plenty of guidebooks and maps describing the Pacific coast dirt road... I am not, repeat not the only author to have ever mentioned that dirt road!:lol::lol: )

Seven Jealous Sisters lyrics

seven sisters, seven sisters
are on my mind, they`re on my mind
they all live apart and they don`t ever speak
