What is you age, lets say you live in Baja at least 6 months per year to qualify for living there.

I voted for my folks, both over 80 and living full-time in Rosarito. They've been there for over 25 years. Yes, it would be more "convenient" for them (and us, their daughters) if they lived on this side of the border, but I respect their decision to remain.

60 year olds have two choices, 50 to 60, or 60 to 70. You're only as old as you feel. If you're 60 and feel good, chose the former.
