It was cancelled last year... first time since 2003... We hope the economy improves and the fear factor reduces, so it can resume someday!

I'll be signing books at Sharkey's next week. Just gather up some books and bring 'em in and I'll sign them. :)

Sign me up for the two days. Just don't make it mother's day weekend.

Also, let's bring back the tequila tasting...bring over your favorite tequila for everyone's tasting. I'll bring a case of little tasting cups.

:light:The other thing that could work::light:

Bring any of your old books, for either giving away or trading them. While you are at it...bring your old bathing suits (also for trading).

The weekend should be a blast!

Hi Everyone, Well I'm waiting for an ok from the owners but they and I must say myself , are concerned about what kind of turnout we will have. Tourism is down as you all know. There is not any people down here. the economy , the cartels playing their games and having to have a passport have made big changes down here. How many of you would attend the booksigning? How many authors would come? As David suggested come for the day and stay for the night so you can enjoy the potluck and the tequila tasting.. It would be the first weekend in may. Mothers day is the second weekend and people stay home to be with their Mothers at that time. After that is to close to memorial day, I'd love to have some feed back. Let me know what you think, It will help us in the decision making. Thanks Mucho,k

Does that mean that we will enjoy the company of the Punta Banda Yacht Club team once again? It was great fun cookin between you guys and the purveyor of "Horse c-ck Chili". (No animals were harmed in the making of that chili)
If you make it and have time, you are invited down for a South Campos welcome Rum Runner. Mr & Mrs Big Mike too
Sorry about the hijack

This is a terrific amount of work for Keri to pull this off. Things must be coordinated with authors as well as the hotel.
Let's help her out and show our support, both north as well as south of the border.

The tequila tasting alone should bring a sizeable amount of Nomads!

Hey...how about if the Nomads that show up autograph each bottle of tequila brought in.
An autographed bottle will look pretty cool among one's collection!:bounce:

first weekend does not work for us because we'll be in San Felipe with Udo's chili recipe to beat BajaRob's butt. Not the Yacht Club this time, Rob, just Vince and me!

Even though your stated purpose is to kick my burro (and I hope that you do), you and Vince are still invited to our place for Rum Runners or the libation of your choice. Will miss Big Mike.
