FM3 handler in Loreto?
Can anyone recommend a FM3 handler in Loreto? Do you know how much they charge for a FM3 renewal?

I used Loreto Solutions down by the malecon. They were real nice and very honest. $60 but they got it to me in the states afterwards cause I had to
get home and couldn't wait. Don't know what the FM3 charge is now heard 2000 pesos but not sure.

Unless you have to leave, as did spi19, why use a third party? The process is quick and painless.

agree with backninedan. DIY. go in to the office, get the list of required documents. round them up. take them in, go to bank and pay (1285 for
simple FM3 rentista, you can go on line for a list of the fees otherwise). return to office with receipt for payment. return in one week to pick up
FM3.
take stuff in in the am's, pick ups only in the pm's.
reality\'s never been of much use out here...

I agree also, it takes alittle time but is a great way to practice your spanish.

What you need:
The official application form. Get it at the INM office, and if necessary ask for help filling it out.
A letter, in Spanish, requesting your first, second, third, etc. prorroga (renewal). They can give you an example letter to copy and sign. This is new
this year.
Your passport, and a copy.
Your FM3, and a copy of every written or stamped page.
Proof of residency (water or power bill).
Your last three bank statements.
One folder.
1294 pesos.
This is current as of 10 days ago.

Make that a copy of EVERY page of your passport - stamped or not.
Also a copy of EVERY PAGE of your FM3 - stamped, written on or not.

That's exactly what we needed last year under the old regime. This year was different. But your mileage may vary.
