from a friend.

Today, 4 ultralites flew into el Galito at Hotel Serenidad! a pilot from Morelia on the mainland, one from Mexico City, one Quetro, etc. 3 are manufactured in Australia! They were greeted by 7 of the 12 soldiers..for security (WHAT could THEY haul?) They TRAILERED up to Mexicali, assembled their "plane?" and flew to Guerro Negro, then the town of San Ignacio Tue 4/19/10, then today to Serenidad at 70 mph, with 80 hp otax 4 stroke engines burning 2.3 gph at 2,800 ft, and carrying 15 gallons! Quite a site... About 25 people came to the serenidad to observe the unusual event! Sunny day, NO WIND, 80F here in Mulege today...

i'll be there again in May 7th. can't wait - what WX!!:bounce:

A friend of mine made several trips from Santa Barbara CA to Cabo in a ultra-lite. A group use to make that trip each year. - course that was 15-20 years ago.
