thanks for the update.
was there lots of gringos and are they going to come down? It is what the fair is all about right?
It looked like fun and I am glad the weather turned out to be a nice day.
For those of us who don't know many nomads it would be nice to have the names under the photos.
Again thanks for the information and pictures. Looks like all had a good time.
Maybe will try and go next year.

Great photos and report Udo. A fun and worthwhile day out. We went for the $10 gold wristband and indulged ourselves all the food and drink we wanted. Kept going back to our favorite places.

Enjoyed meeting everyone. Hard to add any pics to your fine array... but what an interesting and beautiful location there at Embarcadero Park North. Definitely put me in the mood for Memorial Weekend...

"You have to try the wines, may would earn a Parker 95-97 rating."

........i don't think so, i mean not in that league - to be honest, but many are good! i'd say a few in the 89-90 maybe if you're using Parker's scale which very tough.

hahahahaha. time for some padre kino.

Here are some additional photos to supplement the beautiful ones from Graham...

The greyhounds from the Caliente race track (Great restaurant!)

The rock-balancer at the embarcadero.
This place is starting to resemble Venice beach with the performers.

The Bohemia beer server.
TJ beer was better (IMHO)

The elegant Caliente restaurant booth. They really went all out for this event!

When registering for the event, one was issued a wrist band with 5 numbers.

There were several ships navigating the waters behind the event. Here is one for you Green Bay fans.

These ladies were part of the really good (Mariachi) band playing most of the day.

Udo, thanks for the great report and photos. Another fantastic event for sure.

Sorry I missed seeing many other Nomads that were there.

I took a nice one of you in front of the TJ cervesa tent. You were right there until I told you about the tequila and wine section! Haha

Matt and his wife with Ferna alongside Audrey with crazy hat!

LOVE Audrey's hat. That is a GREAT one.

But it seems it might cause some itching????

Looks like it was a fun event.

The hat is a classic.
My wife wishes she had one also, although it reminds me of either a moving palapa, or an English sheep dog's point of view.

Thanks for the photos, all. During my 10am to 3:30pm Golf4Ninos promo gig at Baja by the Sea, did not specifically push any Nomads for donations. Preferred to keep it friendly during a first meeting.

So, shameless plug in this thread...
http://Golf4Ninos.wordpress.com DONATE button works for credit card or paypal. Your $10-$20 contribution makes a big difference for poor kids at Agua Viva Shelter. Anonymous donation requests honored.

Or just come down and join us Saturday June 12. Fiesta(food, music, fun) tix are a whopping $10 if purchased by midnight June 4. It's a good party, 240+ people in 2009.

THANKS, Doc

Worthy cause, Doc. I think the Supreme Nomad will allow a slight thread hijack.
When I saw you earlier in the day, Doc, I could tell that you were a little stressed with what you had to do at the Ensenada booth.

I hope Nomads chip in at least a $20.00 U.S. It is really easy...drop by the above web site and click on donate via paypal.
