Request for help in San Diego..DONE DEAL

I have a request for anyone in San Diego.

I will be flying in to San Diego Lindburgh Field (SAN) around 9:30 - 10:00 Monday morning, July 5th. Two days from now.

The object of this trip is to retrieve my motorhome from storage in El Cajon..about 20 miles east of the airport.

Normally I would take a shuttle, van, public transport, etc and that would be that..usually a piece of cake...except for this time.

My problem is I have just found out that an idiot..yours truly.. left some lights on in the rig and all 3 batteries are now dead, including the engine starter battery. No electrical is available at the site to recharge the batts, so I am going to need a jump to get it started..and maybe make a short trip to a nearby auto parts store. Pretty sure I have booster cables aboard the motorhome, but not positive.

Sooo...I wonder if any nomads or readers in the San Diego area can do me a favor by picking me up curbside at San Diego airport (Monday morning around 10:00), driving the 20 miles on I-8 to El Cajon, and help me jump-start the motorhome with your vehicle? 460 Ford gas engine. A parts trip may be necessary, too. I would be glad to repay the favor in cash, dinner and drinks, or with a trade of bed, breakfast, beer, etc. at Coyote Bay in Baja next winter?

Sounds like more fun than taking a taxi and calling AAA.

Anybody out there free on Monday morning..July 5th? If so...Post here or U2U for more info.

Thanks, Roger/Pompano

Done Deal.

Another great thing about BajaNomads. Help arrives quickly..that took all of 27 minutes.

Thanks, David. See you on the 5th.

I'll be curbside...bags in hand.
