What a Beautiful Baby and Mom

Dad is good looking, too.

Now the cycle continues. I wonder when new baby's first introduction to Baja will happen?

Thanks... We understand the hospital will let them come home today, maybe around 4?

Sarah and Baby Savannah are both doing great... super healthy!

Sarah was talking to me about taking the baby to Baja just last weekend! I think when they are out of diapers is a good time to begin, as it was when thir mother and I took our kids to Baja the first time.

My kids' mother and I were both 'raised' on Baja trips... Their mother's parents loved L.A. Bay and camped at La Gringa since the 70's. We met each other in Baja, and when we had kids took them to Baja... You all have seen the photos from almost 20 years ago.

Sarah and Will need to get passports (when do babies need a passport?) first... to make it easier to cross back... But the baby will be going to Baja... Grandpa has got to show her how to four wheel drive and search for 'Lost Missions' afterall!

Me either! But, at least it is all good and happy for everyone. Seriously, I am almost 53, and I know many younger grandpas!

...addition to the 'K' clan...!

Our '1st', was also a Granddaughter - a real joy for Pat & I...

Pat fondly remembers the Playa Mazatlan/Matomi trip where Sara was riding a horse around the beach...now Sara's 'all growed up'...

Happy days ahead, Granddad...The fun's just beginning...:saint:

Thanks for that... interesting that babies can get passports so soon.

The new family went home from the hospital last night... I am waiting to hear how the first night went!

P.S. That is nice, thanks... do you think she looks like Baja Angel?? Idon't have any photos of her mother online, I don't think.

I took this photo last May when they were shopping for maternity clothes...

Congratulations David! I was going to ask if that was the same little girl I remember seeing a picture of holding a rattlesnake. I see my question has been answered.

Yup... that photo was in Discover Baja's magazine in the story about Inky the lost dog... we found on the road to Mision Santa Maria in 2003... Sarah was 12 1/2 then.

I am sure glad that my kids and I could share some great times in Baja together before they grew up... It was some special bonding time as it was just the three of us for several years...

Talked to Sarah today and she says the baby is doing great, never cries, and she is so super happy that she has her... It was great to hear how she is bonding with Savannah. I have a cold and it is killing me to not be there every day... but it is good to give the new family some space.
