And that is really cold for Carson City, too. 38 here in Redding, CA at the far north end of the Central Valley.

A thought. Since the "enlightened" populace of Los Estados Unidos basically shunned the metric system, do you post temps centigrade in a passive aggressive retaliation?

23F here in Prescott Az. My ducks and geese were in their pool a half hour ago. I had to chase them inside their house where its warm and close it up. Stupid birds too dumb to come in out of the cold.

I just returned from 3 weeks in Hultulco MX with daytime high of 91-94F (33- 34C for you Canadians) and overnight lows of 74-75 so the nighttime lows in the 40s here at Punta Banda feel damn cold now. my inlaws that were down there with flew home to -39C (also -39F for us gringos) in Edmonton Alberta.
