Thank you again to Valentin and Armando of Mexicoach for all their time and help yesterday... and to Mexicoach for the very valuable transportation.

Armando brought his two kiddos (in the background of this pic), and I hope it was an enjoyable experience for them as well.

While Valentin & Armando gave the kids a ride back home, Fernando gave the Nomads a trip over to the Mexicoach station on Revolucion to catch the next bus back to San Ysidro and the Border Station parking lot.

We had about a 20 minute wait, caught the Mexicoach - which has a fairly short border wait. While it appeared the drive-across lanes were fairly full, when the bus dropped us to go inside, the walk-across lines were VERY short. Since buses have their own line next to the Sentri line, it was very expedient, and we were back on the bus in minutes, and back at the border station lot just a few minutes after that. Pretty painless, and convenient to ride the Mexicoach across the border both ways yesterday.

Fernando thank you for all you do to make this wonderful day possible and to all those Baja Nomads who contributed to help make this day a reality. Those kids sure need a day of happiness and by the look of their faces they had just that. It sure makes me proud to be a Baja Nomad. Thanks again Fernando and you other Baja Nomads. You know who you are. I also thank those who wanted to help but were unable too. You count too.

Sunday was awesome! FDT did an amazing job putting the event together and the kids had such a great time. It was nice to meet some more Nomads and share the special event. I have been going through the video footage and hope to have something to share by next week.

Thanks to everyone who made this a fantastic day for all of the kids. Each of your gifts brought a big smile to the children as they were opened, and the weather allowed for a day of outdoor fun.

It was an offroad adventure as we traveled the dirt roads in a full size bus to pick up the kids. They had lots of fun waving from the bus to everyone, and BajaGeoff made many friends as he handing over his movie camera so the kids could take some pictures.

As in prior years we were humbled by this experience, and again wish to thank everyone who made it happen.

those pictures are priceless !!

just to make a comment on the pinata ... we had a gentleman stay with us a couple weeks who told us that his brothers gave him his FIRST pinata at age 50 .... as a surprise ... he had never had one all his life, they were 12 brothers and sisters and it just wasn't feasible. Can't remember where he grew up but it obviously was a remote location.

I think it is fantastic that everyone helped out and I wish I could have done more ..... at any rate - GRACIAS ALL OF YOU :saint:
