Sailing La Paz to Mazatlan - crew offered

Anyone need a crew for their sailing trip to mainland. We are a couple who are looking for a sailing boat headed to mainland this week. We are doing a cycling trip from Alaska to Argentina and would like to avoid taking the ferry.

We can cook, clean, sail, or crew, whatever is needed in exchange for passage to mainland. Anyone know where we can find someone who is doing this? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thank you!

when you get to La Paz, go to Marina de La Paz and put a notice on the club bulletin board there. be prepared to leave contact information and to hang around the clubhouse during coffee hour, which starts about 9-9:30 or so. get on the local VHF net...there is a radio at the clubhouse...which starts at 8am. when the net controller gets to the part of the net 'rides and crew' speak up then. it may take awhile but it is a good time of year to be looking for a ride in that direction.
several of my Warm Showers cyclists have found rides this way. good luck.

i believe there are more boats leaving for the mainland from Cabo and more crew changes there..also there is a very active radio net that has a crew portion too so you coul try there too.

We had a couple of friends cycling down that were able to catch a ride with a cruiser. They posted a notice on the Club Cruseros board as rhintransit suggested. They also made sure they were at the club house every morning for the coffee hour so they wouldn't be hard to find.
