Yet ANOTHER non-rental inquiry
OMG....this is kinda like the end of an era....or something!
Not sure whether to be sad or happy for you! I guess if you're happy, then I'm
happy for you!

Thanks LongLegs,
Yes, I am mucho feliz! But it's not like I'm leaving Baja anytime soon! Plus, I may be posting a lot from a slightly different body of water, too.
Think Hannibal Banks.

Good for you Roger selling your Casa. It won't be the same with posts coming from the other side.
Looking at the glass half full, we will get sunset shots now!!!

Pompano, wish you well with your future plans. It has been a real pleasure reading your posts and viewing your outstanding pictures. Many of us see
your 40 year Baja and "up north" lifestyle as the ultimate. Look forward to seeing the next chapter.

Morning coffee replies....
Ken...thanks, now I don't have to mop any more floors, pick up empties, etc. And I will still be around to post more sunrises from the Bay, but some will definetely be sunsets from the other
side.
Thone...good name, can I ask the origin? German, no? I once knew a Thone family. And yes, you are correct, Panama NW corner islands and superb
fishing off the Hannibal Banks. Beautiful water. Been there enough to know it's like Baja in the Golden Years.
soulpatch...you betcha! The Coiba islands and beaches are awesome. The fishing? Well..you got to see it for yourself.
Baja Gringo...GREAT IDEA! Thanks, I am making plans now. Let's see now... a bikini is like that little skimpy thing that Juan wears, right? I'll
see if he has the time to join up.
LancairDriver....muchas gracias, amigo. Now that I have some time off, I can get started on a writing project that has been waiting in the
wings for many years. I have to make sure I have all your names spelled right to go with the photos, of course. And I kinda think there
will be even more Baja adventures ahead.
makana.gabriel...thanks, it is a special place for me..lotsa memories in that old casa..and especially those sunrises. Don't worry, I'm a hopeless
shutterbug and will try my best to clog up the forum in the future with my finds.
BajaDanD...at this stage the daily rate is set at $200 based on 4 people. There will be a discount on a monthly rate. I'll confer with mi amigo over
a nice glass of Red Truck and confirm this later.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Best of luck with your new endeavors----we always believe that change is good---a chance for new great experiences. I know we have considered
another change---and may very well do it.
The home and location are beautiful and should have no problem renting---best of luck to your friend.

I will surely miss you, Roger.
Perhaps you should stay. Forty years in baja. Your roots are real deep here. I don't know. It's a big move. Sometimes you just need to hold on to the
good things in life. You fell in love with this land years ago and the love is still there.
On the other hand there are lots of reasons to leave. Baja isn't how it once was and will never be. So look for places that are now like baja was
then.
It must be a hard decision. But the good thing is that both choices are great (it's a win-win situation for you).

sections of the coconut coast south of yucatan and quintana roo north of Guatamala that have not been fully developed, many off grid communities.
several of my flying friends did a 6 plane group flight there 3 years ago and stayed at a really nice boutique resort, - cheap, primitive, off grid.
would be a killer place to have a beach home.

Think Hannibal Banks. | I fished those
banks last year, by far the best fishing I've ever seen. Absolutely beautiful place, but watch out for the crocodiles and bull sharks.
