Asuncion Wedding

We were blessed to have our daughter Micah and son-in-law Jeremiah's wedding here in Asuncion on Dec 28. A beautiful couple, a beautiful place, and wonderful friends and family event. We had an afternoon beach ceremony at Shari and Juan's---a big hug and thank you to you both, it was extraordinary. Seafood brunch, a honk-honk drive through town, out to San Roque for pictures, then a grand reception at our house. Thank you too to all our friends that helped so much....chopping vegs, getting ice, blowing up balloons, serving tamales........
Here's one pic, for anyone who wants to look through the whole album, here's a link

Best wishes to the new couple.

Looks like someone cleaned out the inside of the church since the roof caved in---still a great little church.

Yes, the San Roque church has a timeless serenity. Also, here's a Big thank you to the band----getting that stand-up bass down to the beach was amazing! It was hearing the music from the patio as she was getting into her gown that got Micah all fluttery, and hearing the waltz as David walked her across the beach that really touched me. Then they cranked it up at night, and boy did the dancing get crazy!
