Kind of takes the term ugly Americans to new heights. Nice folks! Think they are still together?

About Steve. Now there is a nice guy. He custom shaped my buttboard. I love that thing. It's like riding a high performance go-kart on a wave. Almost everything is head high to overhead too! Not as easy as it looks though, kind of tippy at first trying to master sitting still with your feet up.

Its all fun!!! Taco de Baja brings a surf kayak we can play on when the waves have crapped out--those things are a blast--and they have a beer holder!!!

Thanks for all of the imput! I really appreciate the advice. A wetsuit is something I hadn't thought of. I guess I'll rent one just to be on the safe (comfortable) side. If anyone is down that way over Labor Day, maybe I'll see you there!

BajaGrrls,
I might be down that way over the Labor Day weekend. I have a friend from out of town who is needing his Baja fix and can only go that weekend. (Not my favorite time to go, but hey, any excuse to go to Baja!) So anyway, old brown F-250 4x4 with a tan camper shell. License plate frame has the same quote as the one at the bottom of my post. If you make it to Punta Cabras, look for me.

bajaandy:

We'll likely be around, so I'll look for you there. I agree, Labor Day weekend wouldn't be my first choice, but I'll take it. We're coming out from Chicago, so anything has got to be better than being stuck in the city!
