Lady's Bars...who dare to tell me what goes on there???
I've seen Lady's Bars in Ensenada and La Paz before. And now there is one going in near Mulege. I'll expect either no answers, or anonymouse at best
to the question...Just what happens at a Lady's Bar from the time you walk in to the time you leave? The usual pattern is what? You can start your
response with "I've heard that..." if you want.

simply put, a product in demand.
there's been a demand for eons for places for chicks to party with other chicks, and not be hit on by dudes all the time. these are simply bars that
cater to 'girls nights out'. Probably no different that any other party spot, just no dudes allowed.

54321 you are so wrong it's funny. Ladies bars are where guys go to get laid!!! They are bars that do not employ any full time hookers but allow
girls to freelance out of the bar for a commission fee. The guys show up the girls show up and business is taken care of. If you notice most all
ladies bars have what appears to be small hotels attached to them and I do not think I have to explain what the rooms are used for. They are all over
the peninsula usually just outside of town. fishin rich

there Who. It seems I have read something to the effect that because ladies were not allowed in "non ladies" bars, they came up with ladies bars
where they weren't frowned upon for being floozies.
This was so respectable women had a respectable place to go to get snockered rather than your typical cantina.
I think the same still applies although minus the respectable part from what I have seen.
The ladies are still there alrighty, but I'm pretty sure they are up to something besides just quenching their thirst.

Although there are bars in La Paz, San Felipe (at times), and Ensenada (Anthony's).... Tijuana certainly takes the crown for supply and demand.
Most popular and safe for newbies: Chicago Club and Adelitas in the Zona Norte. Don't walk in though... take a cab.

I don't ever rember a time when there wasn't a ladies bar in San Felo.
If you went to a sushi bar what would you expect to find?

Well, I went into a ladies' bar in Chuhuahua and I didn't get the impression that the women were there to get picked up. Maybe I just didn't "get it"
(!!?). We had a good time - drinking beer that is - nothing else!! The bar was part of the hotel, but it was in a tourist area.

Any woman in a "Ladies Bar" in San Felipe MUST have a health card from the local Dr. that checks the "ladies" on a bi-weekly basis. Any woman
without the card is subject to arrest. So say the local policia

Mexican marketing research...what a joke
I can verify that there is a Lady's Bar about to open just outside the village of Mulege...I drove by there today. There is no way this place can
support a Lady's Bar. "Mexican Marketing research" must be just an oxymarooon. Just 3K/persons here supported by a retirement community where 65 is
young. Hello! They should set up in Loreto FHS. Fly-in golfers and fisherpersons in the 30-60 age group, and the villagers have some spendable
income there. I know Loreto, and there is not a Lady's Bar there now or ever...in the last 22 years anyway. There's where the market is...think I'll
start looking for investors. Have your people call my people, we got somethin' going here.

Casa you obviously need to get out more. There has been a hoar house in loreto for over 25 years. Just north of town. It is owned by the chinese
man that owns the markets and lumber stores in mulege which sounds like your home turf. Market research???? yah right---believe me the place will be
a thriving business. I have never seen one go out of business and for mexicans that it saying a lot. You say the age in mulege is to old, well that
is just who will be there, all those horney old men with fat ugly wives. fishin rich

Ladies Bar in Loreto
Oops---sorry about above--I am geting old. Yes, there is a ladies bar in Loreto at the top of town, it is called Julio's Bar. Says right on the door
its a ladies bar. A guy got stuck with a knife there a couple a years ago. Why? Why over a lady of course. There a couple more around town on some
of the lesser traveled roads. Calle Baja California has one that is closed now, but will be open soon. Bar El Messe and Bar Marlin are not
designated ladies bars, but act as a ladies bar and one can get ones pistol cleaned in these places.
