The Real Mexico - Spontaneous Acts of Affection

Yesterday, my housekeeper brought me a huge bundle of flowers from her garden.

She also regularly brings us vegetables from local farms.

Gifts of love.

I wouldn't live anywhere else.

That's really sweet. Nothing better than getting something homemade or grown from someone. I like to give my home canned albacore to friends and neighbors.

I get the same thing too in Baja. Lots of great folks there always have something nice to say or to offer. Last week Salvador offered to take the kids out in his boat.....

Nice post here Jan

this post implies that mexico is friendlier than other countries.

don't know if that is true, but i am sure it makes one warm/fuzzy to think so!

Nice thoughts and reminders of what we love about Baja. Thanks Gypsy Jan.

I'm a benefactor, too...for a very long time now.

But the most precious gift of all is being adopted as one of Manuel y Carmen's family. Muchas gracias, mi amigos.

And I'm shanghaing all these as deckhands to save my poor old back!
