Trout fishing in BCS

Anyone do it? I know where they are and have seen some rather big ones. I also have a few books that mention trout in BCS.

I am thinkiing of taking a 2wt out with some size 18-22 barbless flys one of these days when I get around to it.

Anyone else do this?

Watchit! If you are talking about fresh water, most of the places where trout can live in the Lagunas are in the biosphere. SEMARNAT rules say "No Fishing".

Good to know, however I have seen them elsewhere as well.

I have a baja flyfishing book that tells of a guy who fished for trout back in the 80's. After finding the fish several yrs ago, I have never gone back to fish for them. I figured that there probably weren't that many of the trout and didn't really want to disturb/hurt them.

These days, I have the same feeling about steelheading in the puget sound rivers.

Thanks for the heads up.
