Baja Message Boards

It has come to my attention that there occasionally have been some inaccurate or unresearched postings on the message boards which cause arguments. jejejejeje
This is bad because, so many people read them, interpret them in their own way, and then talk to others about them with wrong information.
This is how rumors get embellished and spread.
I try to know of what I speak when I post something and don't post when I don't. When someone calls me on being wrong about something, I look back to see what was said and either back up my statements with facts or realize I have made a mistake and apologize for doing so.
I don't double talk, delete my posts, or try to lie my way out of whatever I said that was wrong in the first place.. Everybody makes mistakes, no sense being ashamed about it.
I do not correct people to make them look bad. That is purely a gringo thing.
I do it because I think correct information is very important.
And, for all the "stuff" I give to certain people on here, I certainly expect to get called on almost everything I say .
The difference is, I don't take it personally whether "some o dem" mean it that way or not. That's their problem.
If you have something to say on here, or advice to give, it is always great to hear it. As long as it is true and can be backed up with facts.
Otherwise, don't just guess at stuff because it really can confuse matters for a lot of people.
And, you will be called on it !

this is something we all should read and try to live by why is it that so many of us cant say I don't Know.some people just make up an answer instead and that is where the trouble starts.

Rumors kill .

But when you outlaw rumors only outlaws will have rumors so what are you going to do.

Route of all evil: Assumptions without the facts?

In general: Assume your assumptions are wrong without first knowing the facts. If you spend the time to gather the facts first, before making false assumptions and rushing to conclusions, you'll probably get along better with people around you.

Said another way:

A potentially serious impediment to building good relationships is making false assumptions. If one acts on false assumptions as though they?re true, you may find yourself faced with flawed or failed relationships.

My father always told me:

There are three sides to every coin. The two faces and the rough edge. It's the rough edge that can be a slippery slope.

Look forward to meeting you in person JR.

The directions cartoon is a repost of one I did back in late April or May.

I'm trying to see if I can head out sooner.
