Pounding began overnite! Liquid Tubes. Long distance Traveler. Big high tide during early morning that woke us up and under a Full Moon you could see the waves marching in. Exciting & beautiful. Tio

North San Diego is 5-7' faces. What size surf are you getting throughout Baja?

Were all down at the Wedge today, just like the good old times when we lived there.

I just hope all the young dudes ride and get out safe.

i surfed Ralphs alone this morning. no wind and every set was hitting the point differently. there was one sea lion who came barking through the lineup at one point to announce the next set. it was really low tide which made it funky, but no wind.

oh yeah, i forgot the part about it being thigh to eye high, depending on the set. after an hour (and 5-10 boats looking at it and passing) 2 guys paddled out.

i promptly caught the next one and my buddy fired up the engine and came to get me.

back on the ramp at MCRD by 8:30.......

SummerTime.....and the living's EASY!

Got Newport low going high, dawn to 8:00 couple feet overhead Thurs. and Fri. The only longboarder in the water lasted 2 waves. He went home with 2 short boards.:P:lol::lol::P

I surfed Encinitas yesterday and Carlsbad today. Most waves were in the neck high range, but there was the seldom set a foot or 3 overhead.

I caught a half dozen of these bigger set waves, and since nobody would wait outside with me, I had it to myself. Had a blast.

Here's an in betweener later in the afternoon.
