WANTED ALIVE

Looking for a buff black burro. Preferably a catalonian (said to be a colony in "Mexico") and 13-14 h, to be father for my mule.

If you know ranchers, particularly in B.C.S., and find one . . . fishing will forever, be easy in Loreto or Lopez. Jeff

Yes.
For comparison, I would guess Martillo was about 14 1/2 hands.

Shari . . . in addition to size, body black . . . no grey, no red hair. White below the eyes, the mouth and nose and maybe on the belly. He´ll have big straight pointy ears, almond eyes, & a big head & neck. They're around. Just gotta find him.

Buff . . . like a somthin' that goes to the gym every day.

Thanks for lookin'!

A P.S. Shari: I've sent smoke signals to El Valle Perdido & the mountains above San Ignacio. Should you talk with ranchers, ask also of a Criolla yegue para cria.
Black (1st) & Black pinto (2nd).

She'd be 14-15 h.

Long Flowing tail & main, well muscled in the rear quarter, big rectangular body and big rectangular neck, and maybe a roman nose.

Criollo . . . they'll know what she is! Again, thank you kindly for asking. Jeff

For anyone who may be interested;

A "hand" in modern-day measurement is 4 inches.
14-1 means 14 hands and 1 inch = 57 inches.
14-2 equals 14 1/2 hands or 58 inches.
The measurement is taken from the ground at the front hoofs to the whither (shoulder) directly above this front leg, at the base of the neck.
