Take me out...........................

I have tried to contact the administrator , ultimate HEAD HONCHO of this board and can't seem to get to the right person or persons. Dennis kindly referred me to somebody but I can't get an answer.
from anyone.

By the way, dennis has been so very kind and I thank you, dennis, for being so. I hope my saying this doesn;t cause you problems. Please , whoever has the capacity I just ask that you remove me from any subscriptions or future communications and remove my info from your Board. I would like to withdraw my membership.

I am sure this withdrawal will give many so much more fuel to add to the "fire".....................but I am happy to be fuel if that helps you all out.

The fact is that I would prefer not to be a part on "Baja Nomads" and I know that you people would rather I not be here , by the narrow minded judgmental responses I see...............I would never be free enough to express my thoughts with regard to any subject. Sad , but true of the way of the world now days...............

It 's all cool. But I am not a "troll", (I am in fact so internet ignorant I had to google that word to figure out what the heck people where saying) ..................but just so you all can continue with your closed circle , best we part ways.

May you ya'll be truly blessed. Sorry it did not work out.

Blessings and many thanks -the (ex) Aimme76

Golly.....I don't know, Aimee. No one has ever said anything like that before....about me, anyway.
I'm going to go all in saying I won't have a problem with your kind thoughts and thank you so much for saying them.
I wish you the best in all your endeavors.

Not all nomads are narrow-minded or judgmental. At times you can find a lot of value on this board, but we're all human (for the most part), so there's also a lot of dreck. Your desire to wipe out any trace of your presence here seems to be an extreme reaction, and rather puzzling.

Well....and I haven't told everyone of my quest, but I'm considering gender reassignment surgery and I really want to clear the slate of lingering anamosities and misunderstandings.

You will dance with me at the Salon, won't you?

Sorry, Dennis, my dance card is filled. But I will send flowers to your hospital---TJ or Mexicali?

I'm told there are people who set foot in Todos and in a short time run screaming out of town. Why do I love Guerrero Negro and my closest friends hate everything about the town?

Baja is not for everyone. It takes a special (not unique) kind of person to blend in there. This board does have a lot of trolls and aimee is a sensitive sort. Too bad. I like people who feel free enough to express their thoughts.

Dennis, your kindness made an impression. Salute!

I was about to feel sorry that we have lost yet another member but remembered reading some narrow minded remarks about well minded and intentioned Nomads that were slammed for there charitable ways for not helping causes favored by 'aimee76'.
So I looked up some of her comments. Start at the bottom/ oldest and make your own judgement.

Aimee,

In my opinion you are not troll. It took a while. I am sorry if my posts contributed to your displeasure.

The way you entered as a newbe caused suspicion; religious theme, obsessive and vehement, in-your-face writing style, use of capital letters=shouting, and your name, Aimee, which ironically congers the memory of the infamous, atheist Aimee Semple McPhearson.

You are obviously a sensitive person; vulnerable to ridicule, but that is not a negative trait. I am too.

Please hang in. Maybe just lurk for a while without posting. Jump back in when you feel more comfortable. Be aware that there will always be detractors. That goes with the territory. You have endured Dennis' hazing. You have arrived!

It can also be regarded as a waste of time and energy. That too, is understandable. I don't blame you if that is your final decision.

If you have not heard from Doug by now, keep trying. Just don't threaten him with any legal inference. You don't want to get "banned". Doug is a reasonable person. Moderating this herd of cats has to be daunting.

To be proactive you can go to the top of the page and get into control panel/options. Edit out your profile and just stay out. I don't want you to stay out, but if that is what you want to do, I support your decision.

It sounds to me like you are doing good work in Baja without being boorishly evangelistic, and you have identified those who are "false prophets". Good luck with whatever you decide.

From a different thread: looks bi-polar to me.

Judgmental, opinionated, superiority complex, artificial, goody-goody, high-hat, pietistic, sanctimonious, smug, snobbish, and, unctuous. Fits right in here.

Might want to consider taking a break from missionary work.

It's An Open Forum

And the members are a tough crowd. Some are helpful, some are just waiting to jump on a subject and either ridicule or hijack it. Some are a mixture of all three.

At the end of the day, we are all sitting at our computers, pretty much anonymous, and we don't have to deal with face-to-face reactions to whatever comment trips off our fingertips.

A number of posters have tried to control the dialogue on this board, and some have been banned for overreaching the bounds set by the moderator.

The answer to your wish to no longer participate is simple - just delete the Baja Nomad site address from your computer's memory.

I'm the guy you jumped on...and pounded away on...for something about your truck (?)

Then you apologized for the misdirected slur. That was good.

Dennis seems to like you. That's good.

I think you should hang out and keep pounding away with information that you wish all to read. You seem to have followers here.

It's tough in here only once in a while.

BTW...I'm the nicest BN in here......

Sorry, but I don't buy Amiee's sob story for one second. You can tell the true colors of a chameleon when it is threatened. She has shown those colors many times. Wish I could believe her but I don't.

Hang in there Aimee. I've been called a troll on Nomads also. I thought your posts were interesting. At least they were better then anything McFuzz or Tonedeaf ever said.
