arroyo grande trip

Hi guys! I haven't been posting the whole summer, spending more time working and exploring the outside world rather than in front of a computer screen. I also haven't been posting on here cause most of my trips have been in the sierra nevada and this is a baja forum. I actually just came back from a 3days trip (thru owens river gorge) when I got a phone message from David K asking me about a trip to arroyo grande Mexitron and I were talking about doing when the temperature will cool off. It looks like the only time I could do it before the end of the year would be 12/8 to 12/12. How's those dates working for you guys?

Hello jide, that sounds like you have been having a great summer! I am sure Mexitron, Pappy, Taco de Baja, et al will see your post and try to make something work. Guys, jide is a great hiker and explorer!

Here's jide's Baja photo web page: http://vivabaja.com/jide and when he and I explored some exotic canyons this year: http://vivabaja.com/404

Hey jide--welcome back! Sounds like you're having a fun summer....don't you work?

Those dates look okay with me tentatively--don't know about pappy yet--we'll wait for him to chime in.

Pappy, can you (or jide) come up with a trip plan or a day schedule if Thanksgiving works? Last year and the year before I explored around Gonzaga and the Camino Real... But, this may be an alternative. Would we start at El Sauce de Carter or San Juan de Dios?

I'll be in Hawaii for thanksgiving. How'bout Dec 9-12, would it be too short? Otherwise sometimes in late feb is good for me.
