Our Man in Mulege (el mejor mecánico)

Worth taking note ... for those needing a great mechanic in or near Mulege, I personally recommend this fellow.

Señor Oscar Rodriguez Luna

He very quickly analyzed the problem and made repairs (after obtaining the needed parts) when our Dodge diesel truck died while crossing the Mulege bridge.

He speaks and understands Inglés well enough to communicate and is very business-like. We came away feeling very good about our experience with him and recommend him highly! (Hopefully, you won't be needing his services!)

Hi, Unbob

Met you last March/April in Mulege when you were looking for a diesel repairman. Never heard the outcome of your situation until now.

Glad everything turned out well and you continued on your adventure.

Hola! Yes, all ended very well - we enjoyed our unscheduled 3-day stay in Mulege and we turned a lemon into lemonade!

Our experience with señor Oscar was another great encounter with "real" Mexican people. And I must say every encounter I've had with Mexicans (in Baja) has been a totally positive experience! Yeah, I suppose there's the 1-2% "bad apples" out there, but I've never seen one!

Saludos! Rob
