30 minutes after I took this shot it was blowing so hard offshore we didn't want to paddle out for fear of getting swept out to sea. It was insane.

No one surfing and you're keeping secret where the location is? You new to surfing? Must be a scarcity issue. Gotta hide this place from the brother surfers. Gremmie.

Yup and we can only enjoy the photo... of their private playground.

Thanks for at least sharing a pretty photo even without naming the point or area.

Seriously, nobody is storming into 'dangerous' Mexico, in this depressed economy... Not everyone here is a surfer... What few here who are, won't likely all be going to the very same break on the very same day... even if 1 or 2 did, you can't surf unless you are the only one there?

You have every right to not say where the photo was taken, but if you are only not disclosing because you think Nomad will cause it to become crowded, that would quite a surprise... and a great benefit to Mexicans desperate for business! ;D

David K,

I agree with your assessment of the amount of surfers here on nomad. If I named this spot it would have very little effect, but its still a secret spot known to only those who've put in time and sweat and flat tires. I had 3 flat tires coming in here, all at once!

So, I won't name it....someday there will be plenty of people there. Until that day, I'll keep it a secret.

As for helping the economy, there's nothing around here! We saw not one soul the entire 5 days we were there.

ateo...one awesome photo...I saved it to admire for a bit.

The location? I don't know, but....I can gaurantee I've flown over it! But that's a few thousand miles of beach to pick from...

Trip out. Trying to figure out where the date showed up. Was trying to get as anonymous as possible.. This photo was taken in February 2010. Where is the date showing? Maybe my iPad won't let me double click on the photo and go to photobucket......

Have I no anonymity? Olympus is correct! Glad that camera doesn't record GPS. Or does it?
